A PLACE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH

All ages come together to make our church what it is. St. Andrew UMC has programs for youth, children, and families of all kinds. We offer Sunday School, Nursery Care, Confirmation Classes, and opportunities to serve and have fun.

CITIZENSHIP MENTORING

The St. Andrew Citizenship Mentoring Center, in partnership with World Relief Wheaton, is presently active in preparing legal permanent residents for their naturalization exam.  Students are mentored one-on-one, with the ultimate goal of passing the test and gaining citizenship.  The instruction involves English reading and writing skill development as well as government, civics and U.S. history instruction.

CROP WALK

Walkers from 12 churches located in Carol Stream, Bartlett, and West Chicago head out on a 5 Mile Walk Against Hunger.  We walk in honor of the many people around the world who must walk miles every day to get food and clean water!

UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH

With over 50 years of mobilizing, organizing, and moving, United Women in Faith have been a vital part of our life together. Our chapter was organized in 2012. A Secret Sister program is also run by our United Women in Faith throughout the year.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION FOR ALL AGES

With Sunday School for youth and children during the worship hour and adult studies after worship, there is something for everyone to deepen their faith.
We also offer a regular study on Wednesday mornings and Saturday mornings .

SO MUCH MORE!

We knit prayer shawls, tie pillows to help those in physical recovery, have prayer vigils, deliver flowers to show we care, and visit those in need. Come, learn more about our church by visiting at 9:30am on Sundays.
